May's portfolio

I am going to use Adobe flash to create an online digital portfolio of my work, I will develop and create a coherent design experience, so all users can access all of my work in a engaging and seamless way.

here are some concepts for portfolio:

the basic idea for these concepts is when you click on the titles(about, profile ..etc) a new info box will appear.

my final concept that I'm going to work on it and improve it , is " face portfolio" .

* how it's work?

when you enter my portfolio the face will appears on the screen , e.g when you click on the mouth a big smile will comes on the face and some INFO about me will shown inside a square.

as I labeled the eyes , mouth, head, and the ears in the image above , when you want to contact me you click on the eyes , the left eye contain my email address and mobile No. , if you have a "Frequently Asked Questions" then you need to click on the right eye . whatever was your choice when you click on the eye it will open.

the ears will control the sound volume of the portfolio

when you click on the head it will open and some of my designs and works will shown inside a square out side the head .

Playing Sounds with AS3

Playing sounds using ActionScript 3.0 is not as simple as we hoped it to be as it requires using more than one class to perform even the simplest of tasks relating to sound such as pausing or changing the sound volume. This tutorial was very helpful its covered all the basics I need to learn how to start playing local and external sounds in Flash.

Music Looping in AS3

According to the AS3 documentation you can loop a sound by passing in a loop number argument when you call play on a sound. Apparently, that never seems to work consistently for me. Sometimes it would not loop after a number of times, or it doesn’t loop immediately. So I usually just manually control the looping of music with Event Listeners.

To do this, you need to add an Event Listener to the music channel that will call a function to replay the sound whenever it’s done playing once.

when you move the mouse over the last bomb it will zoom in and its color will changes.

when you move the mouse over the blank space in the right corner , other bomb will appear with a word "Boom".

I like the idea of this website , smart transition from one image to another.

there are alot of images, each one contain alot of images inside it when you click on any one ,that will take you to see the others.

this is my favorite website, I really like it , the background is very nice and you can save it as a wallpaper and use it. you can switch ON/Off the sound .
